DressShare

Terms of Service

Effective 8 September 2026. By creating an account or listing an outfit you agree to these terms.

The service

DressShare is a peer-to-peer marketplace where people in India list outfits for rent and request to borrow them. DressShare is not the owner of the outfits, is not a party to the rental, and does not currently take payment in the app. Handover and payment are arranged between the owner and the renter.

Your account

You must be 18 or older. You are responsible for the phone number, email, and Google account you use to sign in. You may delete the account at any time from Profile in the app or at Delete your account.

What you upload

Listings, photos, profile details, and booking notes are your content. You must have the right to use every photo you upload. You grant DressShare a licence to host and display that content in the app so other people can browse and book. That licence ends when the content is deleted, except for the stripped booking record described in the Privacy Policy.

Do not list anything that is not an outfit you can actually hand over, stolen or counterfeit goods, sexual or hateful content, or spam. We may remove listings that break these rules.

Reporting and takedown

Anyone signed in can report a listing from its detail screen (nudity, stolen photo, counterfeit, not an outfit, offensive, spam, or other). Three open reports hide the listing from browse automatically. We then review the queue and either take the listing down (photos deleted, pending requests rejected) or dismiss the reports.

To complain about content or these terms, write to the grievance officer named in the Privacy Policy. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days.

Bookings

A request is an offer to rent, not a completed contract with DressShare. Owners approve or reject requests. DressShare does not guarantee that an outfit is as described, available, or returned. Disputes about damage, deposits, or no-shows are between the two of you.

Our liability

The app is provided as is. To the extent Indian law allows, DressShare is not liable for listings other people post, for rentals that go wrong, or for indirect loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and law

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. Continued use after that date is acceptance of the new terms. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan have jurisdiction.
